Congratulations to the SD MLS team for leading the charts in 4th place in our Google Cloud & YouTube-8M Video Understanding Challenge which ends July 26, 2017.
This is our third Kaggle Team competition, and we have figured out a winning strategy!
Win first or second place in the next Kaggle competition. The idea is simple, we are crowd-sourcing the entire city’s talent pool to show the world what happens when people work together. Our City Kaggle team is a proof of concept that is spreading across the country. If you know any sharp data scientist that have the skills to help us win, share this page and ask them to APPLY below.
We will form 2 teams per city (San Diego and New York).
“Observer” team – (Beginner – Intermediate)
This team invites students, coders of all levels and anyone that has a desire to learn more about data science through hands-on experience. No limit to team size. This team will be lead by a volunteer Machine Learning Society data scientist with extensive experience in the field. This teams’ challenge is the Two Sigma Connect: Rental Listing Inquiries which ends on April 25, 2017.
“Competitive” team – (Advanced)
This is an advanced skills team that will have no more than 10 members. Each member will have a strong Data Science background and will pledge to contribute code for submission. This teams’ challenge is the Google Cloud & YouTube-8M Video Understanding Challenge which ends July 26, 2017.
If the “Competitive team” wins the competition: The Machine Learning Society will keep 20% of bounty. Remaining proceeds will be divided equally between remaining team members.
